Spectrum Holidays are the exclusive Australian agents for Sisley Garden Tours. Sisley Garden Tours is a specialised tour operating business run by Tony Sissons of Harrogate, England, and Beth Leydon, of Auckland, New Zealand. They are members of the Royal Horticultural Society, the New Zealand Heritage Rose Society and the National Trust. They are both keen gardeners and have both travelled widely for many years. Between them they have visited hundreds of gardens in many parts of the world.

Three different garden tours are being offered for the 2004 year:

Spring : South East England (May 22 to 29, 2004)
An ever popular tour of colourful well known spring gardens and the English countryside in the early flush of the coming season. The tour includes visits to: Rye, Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells, Great Dixter House and Garden, Goodnestone Park, Hever Castle, Wisley Garden and Chelsea Flower Show

Summer Part A : Wessex (July 3 to 10, 2004)
Visit sensuous gardens at the peak of the gardening year, with herbaceous borders in the fullness of summer and fragrant roses besporting themselves seductively over pergolas and balustrades. The tour includes visits to: Bath, Stourhead, Hestercombe Gardens, East Lambrook Manor, The Old Rectory, Abbey House Gardens, Wisley Gardens and Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

Summer Part B: Centre West (July 10 to 17, 2003)
Tour the beautiful Cotswold countryside and see wild flowers and gardens at their best with roses and herbaceous borders in their prime. This tour includes the magnificent Blenheim Palace, Shakespeare’s Birthplace and David Austin’s world famous rose nursery.

For those travelers who are looking for longer holidays we will be pleased to assist you in combining one of the wonderful Sisley garden tours into an itinerary. For instance, the garden tours can be combined with antique lover tours, self drive holidays or stopovers in Europe, Canada, Alaska or mainland USA.

If you are a member of a Club that would like to travel as a special interest group of 15 to 30 we can tailor an itinerary for you and your friends. Let us know your preferences and without obligation we will craft and agree a tour based on your own specific requirements.
