Nepal
Nepal is a fascinating holiday destination. Within a
single day one can fly past Mount Everest, pause amidst
the palaces and temples of Kathmandu and then ride elephants
through tropical jungles inhabited by native birds and
wild animals.
We recommend basing yourself
at the beautiful Lake Begnas Resort. This is the perfect
spot for couples looking for a picturesque location
where they can base themselves and then explore the
fascinating countryside on half or full day treks or
tours. The resort provides great flexibility - one partner
can choose to relax if they wish - whilst the other
can undertake easy one day treks/walks with a sherpa/guide.
Both can then be driven to the fascinating market and
various scenic spots on other days. Begnas Resort is
located on Lake Begnas, known for its clear spring water
and pristine lush surroundings. All rooms are stone
chalets which overlook the tranquil waters of Begnas.
There are beautiful ethnic villages scattered on the
hillsides and the majestic snow-clad mountains form
the background.
Nepal is
located among the southern slopes of the Himalayan Mountains
in South Central Asia. It is bounded by China to the
north and India to the east, west and south. The high
mountains of the main Himalayan Range include Mt. Everest,
Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Makalu. The Kathmandu Valley is a

Hills.
