Halifax

Halifax is the capital of Nova Scotia and is situated on one of the world’s largest deep water ports. This historic city is dominated by the Citadel, a star shaped fortification built by the British Empire in the 1740’s. Attractions are the Citadel, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, containing records of the ill fated Titanic. Pier 21 showcases Canada’s immigrant heritage. Many of the attractions are in an easy walking distance from most major hotels.
