VIA Rail's Skeena

A lovely two day rail journey is available between Prince Rupert and Jasper on VIARail's superbly restored 1950’s Skeena train. There is a overnight hotel stay in Prince George. During this scenic journey you will travel through national and provincial parks, lumber camps and pass beautiful alpine streams and lakes. Prince Rupert located in northern British Columbia is an ideal point to connect with the Alaska Marine Highway for those people who are visiting Alaska as part of their trip.

You can choose between two classes of service on the Skeena, Economy or upgrade to Touring Class. Economy Class is available all year round and only has access to a dome car from October to May. Touring Class is available June to September and includes access to the dome car and cold meals.
